I’m Steve

and this is my

ADHD

experience with

In my early 40’s I was diagnosed with ADHD- Inattentive type. With this late diagnosis, as well as the following diagnoses of both of my adolescent sons, I found there were many things- overlooked symptoms, coping mechanisms- that began to make sense. But there was also so much to learn and understand, both about my own brain but also my sons’.

I began this project with the intent of documenting my process of learning and gathering as much information as I could, while also sharing my experiences. I also began this project as a legacy for my sons, to capture my journey of learning and understanding their brains while also seeking to understand my own.
